Welcome To Hartlepool

I was out taking an image for the weekly B&W Challenge.
This is the one I didn't use, an image from the Greatham Creek Nature Reserve look towards Venator (formerly British Titan/Huntsman Tioxide) and the Able yards dismantling oil rigs and assembling wind turbines.

As I didn't win perhaps I should have used this one....

Happy memories of Hartlepool, Dave the Victoria docks and the ancient sea wall and interesting row of coloured houses.
And I remember one street that had nine working mens clubs. But that was back in my band day's in 1973...

Great shot Dave and I would love to hear from the person who decided to put the sign there ?

I have to admit I love places like this but for the visitor I'm sure Hartlepool has a lot more to offer...
