Looks a very refined way to travel and have a picnic, Patrick. Excellent documentary shot of a way of life fast disappearing.
(Your image reminds me of a story I heard on a Parkinson show: two climbers came off the hill in Glencoe and at the side of the road a 'lady' was seated at a picnic table by the side of her Rolls, her liveried chauffeur acting as butler, the table spread with a white cloth and carrying silver salvers with cakes, sandwiches, etc. She asked if they would join her and when they agreed, she said "I do love roughing it so much".

This is a 1934 model; Prohibition only ended in 1933, so the Pimms must be in a secret compartment in the spare wheel?
Thanks everyone for comments.
