Wellington Botanical garden

It's interesting how one's photographic tastes change.......I used to take quite a lot of flower shots, but realise hat you really need to use a tripod to get the best detail. These were hand held in a hot, humid environment (not at my best in those conditions), but thought they were worthy of a show Smile


Taken in Wellington's Botanical Garden 's Hothouse.

The botanical gardens can be reached by using the funicular to rise above the city. The gardens are perched on the side of a steep hill, but as you clamber down to the bottom you reach a refreshing rose garden and tea rooms with hothouse.
