Yup it's different and good for it!

Personally i'd like a bit more space above the window -- it'd balance out the green at the bottom -- but it is still a nice shot.

Lovely texture in the wall Jeanie, well spotted. Tend to agree with mark, a little bit more space above the window would balance out the foreground - but still a lovely image

Cheers Joline, Dougie, Colin, Teresa, Mark, ken and Chant.

Thanks for your thoughts Mark and Chant - there was no space above the window - the roof was there - gutter and black roof so I wanted to take the pic without that.

Luv how you've framed this, Jeanie....Nicely composed and Luv the contrast of the fg items against the stark white bg of the wall.

Gorgeous!

LOL, Keith and Angie you are right about the lamp! I am too honest aren't I - Must consider cloning stuff like that out. Well done David (dven) for the mod - works perfectly! Kev (debakey) I am worried about you, hee hee!

Accentuated the wall texture by D&B - it was a little subtle for me since I'm a bloke - converted to B&W with a green filter to keep the grass the same tone and uploaded the modified version after you went offline so you couldn't shout at me 'cos I left the 2 little white lines dark.

I left the lamp in on purpose.

The 3 'things' in the window give you a triangular area which rests easier with the eye as you explore it in a circular motion rather than 2 points of interest which cause the eye to rattle back and forth.
