West of Digby- Nova Scotia Canada

By VincentChristopher
One from our trip to the US East Coast and up thro PEl and down thro Nova Scotia back in 2018 and back to Boston MA.

We found this small " township " just west of Digby on the east side of Nova Scotia - it had a tidal river which on low tide had very muddy banks - the town had a wonderful coffee shop/cafe for which we had our usual Americanos but mine with that additional shot.
This image was taken during the late afternoon/early evening in the grounds of their local Fire Station with the tide coming into flood

Hope you like

Ps - at the time I was using Janet's camera since we had had a rear shunt by a log truck a few days earlier and my camera was disabled

That community is Bear River! The coffee shop is great but the now defunct restaurant was also fantastic. The dining room was right out over that water; horrible view at low tide but very nice at high tide. My brother and I used to go there every fall after the leaves have changed and have their fish and chips. It is part of a first nations reserve. Locally it's known as Little Switzerland. and when the leaves are in their glory it is spectacular.

Thank you for this! Dora

I think that building with the addition out over the water is what use to be the restaurant' dining room.
