Weston super mare where the sun always shines

By graceland
Spent alot of time on this beach in my Youth ,Mum used to take us here on the train it was always cold though ,Guess it was cheaper months (of Winter)
People always put the place Down Weston on the mud , No Sea etc. ,But it really is not that bad nowadays the prom has been cleaned up and the beach is nice on a warm day the town has a good selection of shops and in a side street there is a really great fish n chip shop ! Real chips ( Message me if you want the place name)
As kids we were always here or Burnham on Sea just up the rd
Today i still return its still my nearest Beach for a day trip and i do still do enjoy the old place

Picture 2 shows me on the beach in a duffel coat in my youth 10 maybe lol

I know Burnham-on-Sea very well, Robin, and had many happy holidays staying with a relative in Berrow. A great capture and presentation. Carol

Beautiful sunset, only went to Weston once - very quiet! I thought you were near Cheltenham as you were encouraging images taken from there at one time (perhaps you were on a short break )!

Well, it certainly looks good at sunset, Robin.
The old photo is a gem, I bet it brings back a lot of fond memories.
