Wet Feet

By marktc
The first time I've been out for weeks and it persisted it down!!! It did however provide for some atmospheric seascapes.

I really did get my feet wet with this shot, but I think it was worth it.

For those of you who know my family, Benjamin has given us all something to worry about this evening, he managed to get his hands on a water glass that I keep by the bedside, and instead of drinking from it, he took a bite out of it. A cut lip followed by a trip to A & E which resulted in a wait of over two hours with a terribly tired and fractuous young man resulted in us leaving A & E without seeing a doctor... A rubbish end to a very good day and we keep our fingers crossed that he didn't swallow a shard of glass!

Thanks for looking and to all those that clicked or commented on yesterdays upload.

This is beautiful, hope you managed to dry your feet before catching a cold.
And you don't know what the next thing Benjamin is going to do,that is if he's the same as our two boys were,I was backwards and foreward to the Dr when they were little. How old is Benjamin now.

Don't worry... if he'd swallowed some glass I'm sure you'd know about it by now.

Lovely image, beautiful pastel blue tones with just an appropriate balance of milky white in the cloud and long exposure water motion...excellent.

Never mind your wet feet, poor Ben! I once took my son to A&E because I thought he had taken some medication; the Dr checked him out and since Dean obviously liked the guy went into his pocket to offer his new friend one of his smarties which a) he wasn't suppose to have because he is allergic to milk b) I didn't know that someone else had given them to him and c) was what I actually saw in his mouth.

Anyway, back to this magnificent image of yours.................. Cool, crisp colours to bring in the New Year, and is that the Horizon of Opportunity I see there in the distance. Apart from the obvious skills that go into your images, I always like your subtle but powerful contrasts; in this instant the yellow against that beautiful pastel blue.................. See you were up at silly o'clock Grin

What a beautiful image sorry to read about Benjamin. Hope everything will be ok. Hospitals are the same all over the world. They call them Emergencies but there never seems to be any sense of emergency when one is waiting. Take care
