"What Am I ?"

By RonnieAG
What Am I ?................V 2 gives the game away........two images of Dryad's Saddle mushrooms. The small holes are the pores from which millions of spores are released.

My thanks to all who commented so kindly on In The Pink and with special thanks to John {lifesnapper}, Lillian, Jocelia, Bernie {BRITCHIE}, Trev {TrevBatWCC}, Joan {EMJAYCEE} and Robin {Bonnieville} for their User Awards.

Ronnie.

It looked like a skin all right, but I couldn't imagine it to be of a mushroom. A great macro with the droplets, Ronnie. V2 is also a great shot.

First glance I'd have said a sponge (debris & flies apart!) - V2 is stunning when all is revealed -
those droplets are wonderful. The light is the close up on the droplets is amazing.
Good work Ronnie as ever!

I was going to say a sponge, water droplets and a fly! But seeing your name underneath Ronnie should have given me a clue! Grin Excellent close-up and wider view too Smile You should definitely put together a book of fungi - Lillian (King) has done this of her work Wink

I guessed straight away Ronnie because I too have spent an inordinate amount of time grovelling on the floor looking at the underside of fungi! Two super shots.
