What luck!

By jonah794
Hi everyone,

Another day at school today... anyhow... by this stage on the day at the Ramon Crater I had mastered the art of 'commando crawling' (thanks Steve_eb for the name Wink) and thus was able to get down very low with my 200mm lens. I wanted to show depth of field at f/5.6, I don't know why - maybe I was bored Smile

Anyway, as I was doing this... a small bird (I.D. Please!!) hopped right into the frame until I took far too many shots... (sorry to bring you up again... but Steve_eb knows all about this Wink) and sounded like going into battle with machine guns!

Anyway, this is the best one Smile If you think this was lucky - wait till tomorrow, and P.S. tomorrow I will find out if I got a scholarship or not...

Jonah

I can't help you with the ID, but I really like the point of view. A brilliant capture. It looks really dry and dusty, I'm glad I don't have to wash your clothes! Wink

A fine shot Jonah - the crawl is called a 'Leopard Crawl' mate! Ha Ha! 22 years in the Army qualifies me for the correction! Wink

Good question - in my write-up that's why I said 'I.D. Please'

Thanks all.

super shot. Can't help much with the ID - legs are robin like but not sure about that colouring (unless it's a very young one).

fingers crossed for TODAY! Smile
