When Twilight Comes Alive

By Johnnybairdphotography
Twilight is back, and that means one thing – the tenuous and rhythmic Noctilucent Clouds that grace our skies. It is always a joy to watch these finest of structures as they weave across the night sky in their most hypnotic of undulations. This show was the first of the season for me. I had been at another location but cloud had prevented any viewing. I decided to pack up and head home, but on the way I caught a first glimpse just outside Drain’s Bay. Keeping an eye as I drove home, I decided they were strong enough to try and get a decent window seat. Come 2am and a bright show was happening, spreading like Gossamer thread across the northeastern sky. Check out this brief timelapse from this early morning show at [link removed by ePz]
