The meccano nuts and bolts ethics of a good old MOD piece of kit Smile


The cockpit of a Seaking helicopter operated by the Royal Navy Smile Its a real oil and grime envioroment in these beasts and they are extremely forgiving to fly, I had my last 1.5 years service with the RAF in the left seat of these beasts and it was fun Smile


A blend of 4 images and tone mapped to give that real hands on no glamour feel to the cockpit.

So climbing in and out of this is what caused your knee problems the other night? I can't say I'm surprised in the least.
A different use for HDR, seems to have worked. One of theses dropped a Coast Guard winchman onto the back of the Stornoway/Ullapool ferry a few months back when I was on it. (the ferry that is).

That happened to me while on the same ferry many years ago! I love flying and helicopters so great shot Davie.

Dougie it was more the coming out mate that did the damage :-( but I really could not resist the lure of climbing back into the saddle for a moment as it were to bring all the wonderful memories i have and not so good ones as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!! back.


Roy it makes more sense to me than some of todays cars for sure Smile theres only 4 instruments you really need mate the rest are gauges and circuit breakers mate Smile
