Where Land Meets The Sea

By Philpot
Here's a shot from our Skye visit in March, a very overcast day (again) presented itself and we almost gave up hope, I had a look through our "Photographing Scotland" book at the hotel in Portree and thought this place would make for some half decent images!

We spend the full day around this location and had to wait about 3 hours for the tide to come in up to the grassy outcrops, as usual I couldn't resist the 10 stopper, I just like how it takes away the roughness of the sea to give the green land more dominance whilst giving an overall sense of tranquilly to the scene. Thanks for looking KR Phil

A very lovely scene, Phil, the long exposure enhancing the serenity of it 👍
