Where's the Water Gone???

By MrsS
Back to an old favourite before we head off to hopefully get new material tomorrow.

Loved the light on the fg rocks - - looked really odd without any water anywhere near the lighthouse, and we were all getting blasted by the sandstorm.

There did appear to be a storm of a much wetter sort on its way to us, but it never materialised (thankfully)

Whatever you get up to have a super Friday and Weekend Smile

Thanks for stopping in - - hope you like it, as you probably know, I'm having trouble with my processing at the moment, in particular with how dark images are - - so all comments really are useful Smile

Cheers!
Fran x

Nice work Fran, looks like your processing of the image is at last catching up with your camera work. Look forward to seeing your new stuff.

EDIT: Reading that again it sounds all wrong, I hope you know what I mean and don't take it the wrong way. Your processing really brings out the detail and colour in this, it looks good Fran.

Thanks Robin - - it's got my "trademark" drop shadow, white frame, did try it against a black bg, but thought it was too much - - would upload it as a variant but you can't alter just the bg colour Sad

Thanks Chris, I realise about the sky, it was a weird day, lots of drama, but really hard to expose for Smile

I'll be ok once I get out with the camera, I guess!! Wink

Someone must have pulled the plug out and drained all the water....I too thought that the sand was water taken with a slow shutter speed! A beautiful shot and great composition, Fran.
