Whirlaw Stones

Many thanks for the votes on my last photo.
Today's offering is a landscape shot on the moors above Todmorden. I think these rocks are the Whirlaw stones. This area of the South Pennine moors is covered in these fascinating rock formations which were formed from glacial ice-melt during the last ice-age. There is one called the Stegasaurus which I will try and photograph next time.

Great image and good to keep the turbines in - they are now part of the landscape whether we like them or not. Thx for the UA
