whitby abbey from the sea

While I was in Whitby I went out on one of the boats to try and get some different shots of the harbour etc.

I like this one of the abbey & St Mary's church from just outside of the harbour mouth.

I think the clouds add an extra element of drama to it.

Wonderful light and agree about the clouds - I haven't seen the abbey from this vantage point before! What a great shot.

Great shot and I also agree about the clouds, they give some extra movement. Nice one.
