I love this!! Did you try it without the wire across the shot? I can't decide if it's a bit distracting or not...

This works really well. The shadow and curving background add to the overall balance of the shot. Very effective.

I know what you mean about the wire - It was there on purpose, but I can't decide if I like it or it's too cluttered.

interesting shot..hard edged table and lamp and soft shadows. I'd keep the wire.

had the same reservations about the wire. Perhaps it would have been better if it came from the other side, not interfering with the shadow. Apart from that, terrific work

Love the curves on the shadow. Very simple & yet effective shot. The cable needs to diappear.
