Crossing the Stanhope moors in Co. Durham and the snow and sky seemed to blend into one of whiteness with just the road dividing the landscape like the crease in a page... And standing out against this whiteness were the words WEARDALE.
I had to stop to take the picture of utter bleakness that was reminiscent of somewhere in the Arctic circle not northeast England
