This is a fabulous image of the whitethroat, but it's the bg that intrigues me. I feel you must have altered it, and it makes such a wonderful finish to the image for me, and a genius idea to use the yellow of the flowers, where most would choose a contrast. If it hasn't been changed, please forgive me.

prettty bird shot not sure about your b/g as the flowers would have worked well with the bird and they are almost lost with the yellow b/g

Ann, difficult to choose the background, These birds are not your usual feeder birds where ever they land you shoot ! Its not a case of I will wait for another shot, you get what you take, what I should have said from the start I am happy with it, its not to everyones taste Smile 700mm at F5.6 your going to get this DOF
