Who Woz 'Ere, then?

By MrsS
Good Evening everyone, hope your weekend has been good so far Smile

Yesterday, at silly o'clock, Paul and I had a wander UP Gummer's How. Since I had neglected to take my Mountaineer 1st Class badge in the brownies, I found it a little tough going to say the least! We did get up there eventually, and once I'd struggled up to the trig point, I realised that the view was a bit nice. I also noticed that "someone" had scratched their initials onto the stone, too.

Now, I'm not one to gossip OR to cast nasturtiums, BUT, those initials are NM. Wonder if the first name is Neil??? Wink

Anyway, I thought I'd share this one with you, hope you like it. As always, Thanks ever so for sparing the time to have a look and of course, now you've got this far, it wouldn't hurt to have a wee peak at the LARGE version, now would it?? Grin

Off to finish my marking and planning now - - enjoy your evening Smile

Cheers!
Fran x

Hi Fran. Definitely well worth the climb. Super detail in the stone and going back into the shot.
Next time you're going up high just let mountain rescue know. They love the practise and will gladly carry you up and down. Better give Paul your kit to carry though. They're a bit gung ho! Wink

Some hike up there wasn't it Fran! Looks somewhat drier than I was there though, the path was more like a stream. Pin sharp and a fine sky to top it off Smile

I took a wee walk up to the trig this morning as well Fran, bit of a frantic run really to catch the sunrise, got there and had to wait 45 minutes in an icey blast until the Sun decided to break the clouds. Sad Got a few shots though.Smile
