Widness / Runcorn Bridge...

By ade_mcfade
Not sure which town it's named after, it's just signposted "The Bridge"

Was down shooting an office complex for a client and popped down to the river for a few shots before heading home.

Sun came out and reflected on the underside of the deck lighting up the green girders rather nicely.

I'm sure someone will say "Shame about the scaffolding" but I'm not going to attempt to clone that lot out Wink

It's known in these parts as the 'Runcorn Bridge' Ade, but all the road signs refer to it as 'the bridge' too. I really rate this, and I think the scaffold adds interest. It's on my list of unfinished business in terms of photography.

Adam.

PS. I assume this is HDR?

This'd make a brilliant poster for something. Not sure what though, but it's great.

It's a shame about the scaffold lol. Didn't want to disappoint.

Seriously though this is a very well worked HDR and a good example of how and more importantly WHEN it should be done. Love all the detail it has brought in. Just kidding about the scaffold. I think it adds quite a lot to the image. Would love to see a cloned out version though. Lol. Just kidding.

Image is excellent 'as is'. The old bridge, the angry sky...it all works. TG

Thinking about this image. Its not very often that a busy detailed image works well, but this one does. I think the reason is the arrangement is neat and graceful. TG
