Wild Blue Yonder

A little bee-eater with a catchlight in its eye perches on a thin, dead branch under a perfect, blue sky. It has a golden body and a black beak with green wings and black stripes on its head, breast and tail. Shot with a Sony a1, a 600mm lens and a 1.4x teleconverter in Chobe National Park in Botswana in May 2022.
