Wild Violets

Nice to see so many of these coming out around here. I learnt last year that the Silver Washed Fritillary butterfly lays its eggs on their leaves, so fingers crossed for a good year for them this year.

Dave, thank you!!! That makes up for the ones my bad cat ate! 2 beautiful images. Violets are such delicate things, so unassuming. Wonderful photos of them. And thanks again!
