A gorgeous image, the composition is perfect. You've even managed to capture the tiny hairs on the 'landing pads' of the foxgloves. Brilliant!

Hello James. This is a very nice image of a bee in flight, I know they're difficult to capture on flowers they're always so busy, never mind in flight, I haven't shot a decent one flying yet! So very well done. The only niggle if I may say in your image is the slightly blown highlights behind the bee's head or is that something else? Or maybe it's just my screen. Rgds jeanette

You have captured so much detail not only with the bee but with the foxglove also, you deserve a prize for this one, not only just for the detail but also for the timing!!
Keep up the good work

That *is* a very hard image to capture, his legs and proboscis are nicely captured and the blur on his wings is nice. They do like foxgloves don't they?!
