Wilstone Dusk

Another from last weekend.

I have shot this scene so many times in the hope of getting the magical light I found there in May 2005. The light was very beautiful when I was there and certainly the vibrancy of colour was superb but there was just not quite enough drama in the sky to make this scene quite as beautiful as last year. The original image is on my EPZ folio if you want to compare it to this.

RAW capture, processed in Adobe CS2. 1.3 second @ F22

I processed this to be nice and punchy and used a digital ND grad of around 2 stops to hold back the sky and increase the colour density in this are. Sponge tool also used to saturate the red part of the sky and make it look as vibrant as the scene looked in reality.
