Winchester Cathedral

Stopped off in Winchester for a short while on my way home from Marwell Wildlife just to get a couple of architectural shots to try out Lightroom 5 Beta's Upright feature.
This is using the "Vertical" correction option and it has worked quite well with the right hand side but the left side still appears slightly distorted.

Would have been nice to see the original shot before corrections in order to appreciate the amount of distortion corrected. But, since I have never visited the Cathedral, and I should, I watched the virtual tour on its Website. Yes, distortion is indeed a major problem for photographers, which leads me to conclude your corrections are not bad at all (unfortunately there is so much loss in the details). Thanks for making the experiment. Cheers,

Thanks for stopping by with your observation on lack of detail, not sure why this is but will have another look at it.
