Winding track

By KingArthur
Saturday afternoon took me to the lush valleys beneath Mdina. Strolling beneath some glorious sunshine, I came across this beaten track gleaming in lovely autumn colours and put my FZ30 to work.

Instead of going for the conventional landscape shot, I increased the focal length homing in on the opposite end of the track to bag this interesting countryside shot.

All comments and feedback (plus clicks) welcome.

The larger image should look better.

Joe

Like the way the path leads into the picture and the foreground colour tones are spot on.

This is an excellent composition. The colours are also beautiful and the dappled lighting on the track.

Nice saturation in the colours and the windy path leads you to a good point of interest.

This is one of those images that I call "inviting", it makes you feel like just wanting to walk into the image up that path.
