Windmills Be Warned Tourist Trap

By achieverswales
Thank you everyone for comments and votes yesterday, today some windmills from Brugge, it was just starting to snow when these were taken, just off to the right looking at the photo in V1 are two small Cafe Bars, if any one is going here avoid at all cost, one cheese and tomato Pizza and two small glasses of Lager was an outrageous 51 Euro, how they are allowed to profiteer like this is beyond me. I prefer V2 myself but wanted to warn people about the cafe.

Two great images Trev. For me image number two is the more appealing, I love the whole composition, it has both charm and interest.

Trevor It is nice to see what is over there and to be warned of the dangers of going. Two interesting captures, V1 for me, I find V2 to bitty for me my eyes cannot
settle on any one part of the frame. However well done. Eric.

Two excellent images, Trev. As for the disgusting price for food/drink, if it were me I would have refused to pay it. Carol

A very phototgenic spot with the windmills - pity the weather wasn't more accommodating.
I've been warning friends about those outrageous prices.

Well-warned, Trev. Lovely colour in v2 and a strong composition. The twigs and branches give a fine texture to the grey sky, in summer the leaves would block ALL the view.

Well, if silly exorbitant single room supplements hasn't put me off going to Bruges, these silly prices would! Sad Still, you've got a couple of lovely captures of these beautiful windmills, Trev Wink

I know what you mean about extortionate prices it is daylight robbery! The pubs in Cheltenham do this when it is Race Week, they hike up the prices to 4.50 or 5 a pint and sell rolls at 4, hence the reason I go away on holiday at this time to avoid the mayhem surrounding what used to be a great event in the local calendar. I never buy "food to go" and those so called meal deals from shops as you never get value for money. Places like Wetherspoons are a different matter as there are lots of bargains to be had, I can highly recommend the one in Market Harborough which I visited several times on my canalboat trip for various meals
