Window Through Time

By AllistairK
Sitting on the banks of the river Forth and originating in the 6th century the village of Culross today consists of red-roofed and white-harled 17th & 18th century properties with many of the streets still cobbled. Itís often used as a period location in film and television productions.

I have not been in Culross for a few years now, which I should really remedy! Your image brings all back the Palace and the whitewashed houses. On my last visit, I concentrated on the houses and the cobbled streets, but should have also been looking at the fabric of the buildings as well. Good capture, Allistair.
