Many thanks to those who have commented, voted and awarded my last few uploads and apologies again for not remembering to acknowledge you before this. I get excited Blush when I upload something new and forget the protocol. Sorry.

On Monday I went with a couple of the girls to see Andy Gray's exhibition in The Old School Gallery in Alnmouth, then off we set to have a go at some ICM ourselves. This is more or less straight out of the camera without any of the layering, but I quite liked it so thought I would upload before having a bash at Mr Gray's techniques!

I might have included a bit less sky, but then it wasn't me wot took it... so I think that's not too shabby for an early attempt, Fiona.

You are right and a bit more water would have been better, but composition ain't easy when you are wafting your camera about!

This has a lovely sense of drift, movement, wind whipping up sand.
Exhibition duly noted...

Yes, a little less on top for me too Fiona but, I do like the effect you have created here with your wafting ( would make a nice texture layer for another image ).

Nice bit of wafting! I agree with the less sky comment.
Look forward to seeing the next one Fiona

Well done - this is not as easy as it looks - I agree that less sky would be better.
I tried this kind of thing from a moving bus recently - but not much that I liked.

Precisely. That's what makes the difference.
