Wine Rack

By TrevBatWCC
A few metres up the hill from the bottom of the cobbled street in my previous upload A steep climb! was a café on the left side. To the right of its entrance was a window with this 'wine rack' recessed into it containing these lovely decorative wine bottles. It says, if you can't read it, 'Hand-painted bottles for sale'. I don't know how much they cost, but I thought it was definitely worth capturing! Smile

Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

It's pretty neat, but I think that this could usefully be split into two images. At the moment there are two interesting subjects competing for attention.

Cheaper than buying them Trev, you've got the lot with one shot. Well done.

If they really are hand-painted it must take ages.

Very decorative Trev.
A waste of time having them painted in my local park though.
They sit on the benches drinking their wine with the bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag !!

Love the composition, Trev, and the bottles are very attractive. They are very trusting, having that one on the right out in the open. Wouldn't last 5 minutes here.
And how did they get it IN there?

You're right, that large bottle wouldn't stay there very long around here! Never thought about they got it in there, until looking at it again after reading your comments, Pamela! Grin A real puzzle....
