Wingwalker Deja Vu

By javam
Er, any similarities to other photos living or dead is entirely accidental...

Ok, time to spot the differences between this and Gareth's EC shot of a couple of weeks back.

Different air show, different Stearman, same lens. Result - similar, but slightly less dramatic shot.

Taken on Saturday at the Duxford Flying Legends air show.

A very fine shot Neil, and just comparing yours and Gareth's side by side you lose by a whisker. His shot has better light, especially under the wings and is a tad more dramatic. But hey-ho we're not talking vast differences.

Thanks Tim, Cole, Alley and James.

James, yes it is. The UB colour scheme was a lot better than this one IMHO, but at least it adds some variety.

Thanks John, Gareth.

Gareth, I don't think I could have had a closer match if I tired. I may get another go at these on Saturday if I am not sheltering under an umbrella.

I tried to upload to the challenge but getting the message:

Quote:You can upload to this challenge once a week only.

I will submit a problem report and see what happens.

Have to agree with the others... a really good action shot... and I like the hint of colour and texture in the clouds behind the plane.

BTW... just so you have some competition, I have uploaded a photo to the challange as well. Wink

Paul, the more the merrier. I don't think we should hold our breath waiting for some votes though by the looks of things Wink
