Winter 2014 #12

By handlerstudio
Sometimes it is the simple things that catch one's eye, or more to the point, my eye. I remember, once, when I was getting my MFA (in jewelry and metalsmithing), my teacher said that one of the rewards of being an artist is that we see the world differently. And, as a photographer, often as I walk, or ride my bike, or drive, I find myself looking, just looking, and thinking, is this a photo.

And I would like to thank Colleen for her treasured UA for my standing tree yesterday.

The details often say a lot, so these were well spotted.
A Levels and a Curves adjustment would make these 'pop' and show their full glory, as they are a little flat at the moment.
