Winter Colour

By wicksy
Part of my plan to document my garden this year. Not much in bloom at the moment except these beautiful Hellebores. Cut and shot indoors using a single light with a beauty dish and grid. The light at a right angle to the bloom to darken the background and almost rim light it. enjoy

A marvellous idea. A lovely portrait of a Hellebore.

I was browsing the forum and on the side bar this image was in the "Featured photo" thumbnail and i though wow thats nice,
I had to come over and get a closer look, its beautiful, I especially like seeing the flowers photographed against the dark background, it really makes
the colour of the petals look so deep and rich.
Lovely work.
