Actually prefer this to the previous image, cleaner & sharper without the 'forest'.

Love this. I haven't any awards left unfortunately. Just gave my last one to a ridiculous hilarious dog. Sorry.

I like this Malc, probably a bit more than the previous one - as you say, no forest behind, so that makes it cleaner. But because it's minimalist, it's not simplistic. I'm having trouble working out the scale - the comparative sizes of the shrubs suggest it's not far, but the distance between the fence posts at the front compared to the farther fence suggest otherwise. Intriguing. Allan

Fabulous.
Alfred is keen to see a square crop, and I think he may have a point.

Thanks, Allan. As fR as I remember the nearst bush was about 30 metres away and the back fence and bush considerably further. The zoom has compressed the distance, I haven't altered it in processing.

Hey, that's first class, Malc. I love simple or minimalist images.
22 Mar 2018 9:17PM
Superb. The compression makes this. There's a surreal quality to it, it looks impossible.
Cheers

My favourite of the two too Malc.
So.....now you have outgrown Ker Plunk...you thought you would try and bury the sticks in the snow!
Don't do that with your marbles to Malc ....slipping hazardWink

Surely not the view from your window, Malc?
I'm working through Connections backwards (so to speak) so do not have the first image to compare; this 'n will suit me Smile

Thanks for the comment on my Taubenschatten. I have a copy of Jane's Fighting Aircraft 1914-1918 -exceptionally heavy bedtime reading . . .

What can be better for a b&w photographer than to live in snowy Norway, with a lot of contrast during the hole winter. Smile
Another great shot Malc!!!
