Yet another image from our trip over to Assynt in the snow earlier this month showing Loch Assynt with the ruins of Calda House in the distance.

Thanks to all those of you who have taken the time to vote and comment on my previous uploads from this trip. Hoping to get out for some new photos soon.

Smashing view point Sue, hope you didn't get wet knees taking this oneSmile Got a very cold feel to it, and could only be the Scotish Highlands. Lovely shot, and hope you get out soon to get more shots of your wonderful suroundings.

Looks as if you have had quite a heavy fall of snow, Sue, the one advantage only is that it permits some fine winter shots like this. Hope you survived the recent storms unscaithed.

Like the pinky tones captured here. lovely snow scene

Great composition on this one, my favourite so far. Love the foreground tussocks.

This is a wonderful take on Calda House - the loch, again, looks so cold and I just love the light there. Is that Ben More Assynt on the left looking fairly bleak?

Like the comp very much as well as that lovely light you really only get on snowy, wintry days!

There's snow on my screen, snow out my window and the drafts are getting to me. Like the composition and the low angle here Sue.

There is a bit more positive colour to the sky in this one, Sue, it looks like the weather was about to change for the better, perhaps. Still looks cold, although the cloud colour warms it up.

Lovely capture, Sue, and beautiful pastel colours in the sky. Looks rather like you were knee deep in that snow! Wink

It looks so cold there, Sue - I feel I ought to be sending you some hot soup! Or a St. Bernard with some brandy!
