Little Krystad, Lofoten, Norway.
I find this an irresistable location with a charming little rorbrua by the waters edge and a magnificent backdrop of snow covered peaks. However on this occasion it surpassed my wildest dreams with sunrise striking the tallest peaks turning them to blood red thorns beneath clouds of raspberry ripple and a healthy dollop of rouge applied to the snow. This was the optimum moment when the lit peaks were at their bloodiest. A truly thrilling moment.
