Winter's End

After arising early and driving a couple of hours, I arrived to capture some famous German castles. Sadly, the weather changed and the light was flat. A bit disappointed, I decided to return home shortly after lunch and began the journey. As I was nearing close to home, I remembered Burg Lichtenburg castle, about 10 minutes drive from home, served fantastic tea and desserts, just what the doctored ordered so I turned off at the last second for the castle. I decided to bring my camera in with me to review the pics from the morning session. Just as I entered the grounds, snow started softly falling, creating this beautiful scene. With my trusty GH2, I captured what turned out to be the last snow of the year with Spring arriving shortly after....Winter's End.

It's always nice to see some of your pre-Utah images... they have an intimate quality which is very attractive. This is lovely.
