I like the the framing created by the trees. Would it be worth checking the horizon and converting to mono?

Very effective. The trees make it. I would myself have been tempted to see the effect of bringing out some of the shapes in the bank. May or may not be interesting.

Hi Kurt I took the opportunity off uploading a modification. Please ignore the first one as I clicked the before image instead of the after. However in image two I simply straightened the horizon, brought out more detail and converted the image to monochrome. Hope you like.

Silhouette above, partially desaturated detail under. A superb image, Kurt. Well worth the re-work.

Thanks for the comments and likes. I know some of you think that the horizon is off, but in fact there is no horizon in view. There is a mist just rising over the lake in the background and beyond that are the shore and mountains mostly hidden in mist, not a straight line, apart from the man-made items in the centre ground. Especial thanks to Malc and Nathan for the UA and Mod.
