Nice shot Ann,

I hope the rose survives, they usually do when it comes to snow. It's often a heavy frost that can do more damage.

Love the splash of red and the melted droplet.

Well caught.

A wonderful scene of what nature is all about.....survival.
We've not had snow.
Don't get much of it here, maybe a flurry.
We do get terrible easterly winds though.
Take care,

Really like this Ann, but feel sorry for the poor rose! Didn't get any haggis tonight but did have a dram of single malt, so all was not lost!
Regards, take care,

Sooo wonderfully captured, Ann. The harsh life of a rose. Most people smile at the joy roses bring when they are fresh and warm and radiant. But this is the colder side of the poor fella's existence which isn't brought to light. Beautiful portrayal of beautiful resilience.
