Wipeout

By Mari
Hardly a Paul Frost (you're in no danger of competition here Paul lol) but these guys were having such fun I thought i'd try to capture the bits that go wrong not right also practising my sports photography at the same time - yes I know I have a long way to go lol

Taken today at Whitesands Bay, North Pembrokeshire.

Has to be seen large really or you may not see the surfer lol Wink

I know it's not the subject of the shot Mari, but I like the lighting angle on the surf.

You need to buy a big expensive lens now Mari

I think I prefere v.2 . It concentrates on the surfer battling the elements.

You caught the action well and the drama with the thundering waves, deserves more attention Mari, nice work.

All the very best

it's fun to capture these sort of shots Smile normally I'd go for the detailed clos-up of 2 but as an overall shot, and with his back being turned, then 1 is the stronger image
