As easy as it is to shoot well known locations I love nothing more than finding a new location, rarely photographed, if at all and trying to get an image people will like. This is usually difficult because I find a lot of people associate images that are well known as better images overall, perhaps because they can relate?
This is a shot of the recently built Star Disc in Wirksworth, a 12m map of the night sky illuminated by lights powered by our closest star, the sun.
