Hi Kate, this is how ...
Selected a photo of a bunny I knitted on my machine, popped into Serif PhotoPlus and used cutout (better than pse11) to remove him from background and saved as png. Then into pse 11, used topaz and xero, to change his looks a little, add a pse11 background of choice, then colour matched bunny to background, placed him where I wanted him, did a little erasing, selected an edging added a bit of typing and voila!
