Many thanks for your votes comments all the user awards for my moon eclipse much appreciated

Melbourne has been plunged into a 7 day extreme lockdown. Only 4 reasons to leave home and can only go outdoors for two hours a day within 5 kms from home. Since Covid started Melbourne has been locked up for 160 days.
We have reaped the benefits as we have been Covid free for months. Unfortunately Australia has to let in returning residents who go into hotel quarantine. An Indian gentleman arrived in Adelaide end of last month and was Covid free but seemed to catch it from people in the room next to him. He only showed symptoms after he was release from the hotel Nd flew home to Melbourne. He walked around the community for a week before deciding to get tested. This meant he infected his family and friends who in turn went to bars, restaurants and football matches to name a few. We now have 30 positive cases, over 160 possible hotspots and over 10,000 people isolating. We have watched how this Indian variant has multiplied in the UK over the last week , now 7,000 cases. Our government does not mess around with Covid especially this Indian variant which seems to spread so much faster, so letís hope our lockdown will help. This is the 161st day in 18 months that we have been in hard lockdown.

I live alone and have no family so life is the same everyday. I fortunately like my own company and have a beautiful apartment I love being in. I have a lot of hobbies and keep busy.

Oh dear, Colleen, when we think the situation's improved we get locked back again - I wouldn't be surprised if it happens here with this Indian variant 😳
A very lovely close-up capture here, let's hope you'll be able to get back into those gardens soon 👍
Take care,
Trev 😀

My own wisteria didn't do too well, so I now just enjoy everybody else's.
Sorry to hear about the lockdown, Colleen, but 7 days doesn't sound too bad and, as you say, you can find lots of things to do indoors.

Beautiful wisteria.
Covid is a b----- - only heard today about Australian lockdown again.
At moment Glasgow is the worst hit in Scotland with severe restrictions and other areas
trying to get on with life.
We are going to have to learn to live with it or life will stop as we know it.
Thousands die with flu every year but that doesn't stop us from going about our business.

You have a strange outlook on life Kate. In Australia every life is important thatís why we have listened and stayed home. Life is not just about parties and holidays itís about caring about the vulnerable.
