Wistman's Wood

Wistmans Wood is said to be the most haunted place in Dartmoor. It is also said to have the most poisonous Adders anywhere to be found in Devon and in the grove there live Black hounds with red eyes and yellow fangs!
While I never saw any of the above mentioned I did find myself spell bound by this ancient twisted oak tree grove, that was very challenging to photograph to say the least.
Beautiful greens hence the name.
