A young cheetah slowly walks to find a spot to devour his prize after giving chase during a 'cheetah-run' within the Inverdoorn cheetah sanctuary in South Africa. Cheetah runs are a crucial method of 'enrichment' for captive cheetahs. However, in this case the cheetahs involved are been prepared for release into the wider game reserve where it is hoped they will help control the numbers of Springbok. The cheetah run is therefore associated with food. It's a special sight to see a cheetah motor at full stretch - something I hope to see again.
