I did try a mono version but the white seemed too bright Smile

This is the kind of image that delights me. Happy accident as it may be, it is also surreal - questioning our perception of what real actually means and how it can be captured and/or interpreted.

Bearing in mind Ann's comment and your response I've had a quick go at a mod. I've used PS5 > Image > Adjustments > Black and White > Darker (preset), then played about in Image > Adjustments > Variations, Filter > Artistic > Film Grain and finally Image > Adjustments > Black and White > Tint and added 5% Saturation at 40 to reduce the glare.

Well, it works for me; I've just done a contrasty one too Smile

Perhaps it was a Sooty Tern????

thx for the mods, Bill...am taken more with the grain, but, of course, it's all a matter of taste SmileSmile
