With Snail And I

I found this snail making its way across the grass on a ver hot saturday morning, so I picked it up (by the shell!) and placed it on the fence so I could get a few decent photographs in the good light. I got a few from the other direction which got the sun glowing its body up nicely, but I thought this was the best.

(I did put it back where I found it, so all is well!)

My 100-400 can close in on the action but a macro lense should give better results, good attempt.
