Woking Commuter Flats @ ISO6400

By JackAllTog
Woking Commuter Flats - i was in Woking and liked all the flats but struggled to find a nice composite view - no tripod or wall so handheld at @ ISO6400 and f4.
I hope i've got some of the essence of these busy concrete suburban complexes right by the station.
Added some soft light filter clouds to a layer, then a foreground to transparent grad and despeckled.

I'ts the next day and i'm looking this from a different PC - Although i like the main 3 buildings as a group softened by the tree, and the movement of the cars, pedistrian and cyclist.

The yellow's from the street light are a bit garish and the centre of the picture is a bit empty. Also the tree in the forground and the centre lampost are a bit too dominant in the shot - could you have moved forward and to the right to have the tree behind you and the lampost in the building gap?
Also i'm afraid the cloud effect actually is a big discraction, perhaps if you want to keep it you should have streatched the clouds twice as big so that they were more pronounced in texture but not in obscuring the image.

Overall i still like the energy of the shot and that it looks more friendly here than in real life.
