Wood Forget Me Not

By sherlob
Iíve been trying to take the camera with me whenever I take my daily exercise with the dog. Usually, I limit myself to a single lens and target a particular idea - in this case the idea was simply wild flowers with a shallow dof. I have to admit that the new macro lens iím using is superb and i am thoroughly enjoying using it.

Please correct me if the plant ID is wrong.

Beautifully done, and the idea of walking around with a single prime lens is very creative and makes one look at things in a way a bagful of lenses or a zoom doesn't.

I was photographig some forget-me-nots in the garden yesterday. They haven't appeared for a few years.
I guess your ID is right, I've looked at some sites for images and there's quite a variation within species which makws being certain, for me t least, more difficult.

Of the several macro lenses I have used, that one is without doubt the best...it is a joy to use and see the quality it delivers, Adam.
