When I saw this Ron I thought wow what a great place for it to land, even now knowing its a captive still a great natural perch with it searching below. Nicely done but have to ask on the frame you have a large border to the bottom, did you forget to put a title in

Thanks everyone for the comments. As Richard has asked, I shall have to come clean.......

I have got into the "habit" of using a certain style of presentation but I vary it a little depending on the quality of the image that I upload. This shot is from a set up which was the fourth and final class/workshop in a series that I have been running at Wirral Country Park over the last few months. A lot of my fellow camera club members were there also. Ironically the shots that I obtained were, I thought not as good as they could have been but then I was running the show and had lots to look out for other than my own shots. If I have an image that I like but is not of the highest quality, I give it a wider border, thereby reducing the impact of the softness of what should be a sharp image.

Sorry for the long answer but I couldn't explain it in a couple of words. Well, that's me... "banged to rights!!!"

Best wishes,

An excellent natural looking shot and even better when set against the difficulty of trying to run and organise your class. Well done Ron.

I love it also the perch and the explanation given re wide border at the bottom of the frame, I didnt feel it needed explaining really as at our club we are advised its a good thing as when they are on the podium, the bottom of the picture is hidden (thumbs up)
